Minutes of Committee Meetings 2026
Bonfire Code of Practice
Individual Bonfires are not allowed. From time to time, the Committee will organise a “general” bonfire and will advise members of the dates so that any wood (and only wood) can be safely disposed of.
Let’s Be Frank
Frank Snowden is happy to share his thoughts and suggestions, offering advice gained from many years “at the coal face.”
Frank has been an allotment holder at Little Moor for over 15 years .. at first he had a half plot and now has a full plot which needed a lot of remedial work !
He planted nothing the first year but concentrated on getting rid of Mares tail and improving the soil and building raised beds . Frank had prior gardening experience in showing vegetables and prize winning leeks !!
Gardening to him is a great hobby and pleasure and he loves being outdoors . He is also keen to help people become better gardeners and always happy to give advice.
